Spring 2025 Product Update
Consolidate more of your compliance data and processes in one place
It’s been a busy season at BNDRY and to wrap up the year we’re excited to share a range of new features. These improvements help compliance teams connect their customer data, process documentation, and perform compliance checks to more easily identify higher risk customers, and perform more of the compliance work in one place.
BNDRY provides a single way to understand your customers through consolidated risk profiles, and this quarter we’ve made a number of improvements that makes this even more useful and easier to use. We introduced more ways to bring data into BNDRY, better ways to view and filter data, and an even more comprehensive library of checks for individuals and businesses. All of this aimed at helping you do less of the busy work and reduce your reliance on spreadsheets and paperwork.
Below is a recap of the major updates we’ve made across our platform in Spring 2025 (Sep-Nov). If you want to know more about any of our updates, come and say hello!
Automations
A comprehensive library of automated checks and procedures, enabling you to move towards continuous compliance.
Increased AML screening coverage
We increased the scope of our AML screening to search an entity for regulatory enforcement, reputational risk exposure (adverse media), and persons of interests, on top of the standard PEP and sanctions checks. This gives you even more information to assess the risk profile of a customer. When you confirm a match from a screening search, the entity is automatically tagged with the screening results.

Generate and send a link for self-verification
Whenever you need a customer to verify their identity, you can now generate a self-verification link directly from that customer’s entity profile. Once you share this link to your customer, they’ll be guided through a journey scanning their documents, checking liveness and biometrics. The details and results of the check will be logged against the entity in BNDRY. You can also trigger this flow via API, and embed BNDRY’s self-verification experience directly into your application.

Entities and activities
A better way to track customer data and compliance-relevant events
Track anything you need with Custom Activities
Every organisation’s business model and documented risk program is different, meaning the activities that need to be tracked are also different. BNDRY is designed to accommodate the uniqueness of everyone’s compliance program. With custom activities, you can track anything you like against an entity, such as periodic reviews, a customer site visit, interactions, requests for interaction, and more. Simply define a custom activity type, log a date, and any documents or notes. Soon, you’ll be able to use these activities to drive automations, schedules and calculate a risk rating. You can use the Activity Service API to push activities in real-time into BNDRY entities from other systems as they occur.

Consolidate entity documents in one place
A universal pain point amongst compliance teams is wrangling together evidence and documentation about an entity, particularly if they all relate to different processes whether it be investigations, ongoing due diligence, information requests, and more. Users have told us it’s not uncommon for it to take days or even weeks to collate the information required for periodic reviews or regulator audits. Against every entity in BNDRY is a documents tab. The documents tab aggregates all the documents attached to any activities logged against the entity. Stop searching all your folders and enjoy the visibility of all compliance documentation and files you have for a customer, in one place.

Consolidate historic UARs and SMRs with activity logs
UARs (Unusual Activity Reports) AKA investigations, and SMRs (Suspicious Matter Reports) are amongst the key compliance records that teams must retain. To this day, they are commonly stored in folders and network drives and tracked using spreadsheets, making them hard to find and impossible to build intelligence against. You can now log all your historic UARs and SMRs against an entity profile, to consolidate and retain these reports. Over time, you can use this to drive further intelligence, such as elevating an entity’s risk score depending on how many UARs and SMRs are logged against them.

Workspaces and forms
Digitise your compliance processes for collaboration internally and with customers.
Workspaces for any compliance process
Many compliance processes are document-based or paper-based. Despite their flaws, documents and PDFs remain highly flexible primitives that are easy to build and easy to customise for the unique characteristics of your own compliance program. Now, if you have any process, you can configure a form for it in BNDRY within minutes. Workspaces are your place to work and collaborate on any compliance process in BNDRY. By digitising any paper-based or document-based process in BNDRY, you automatically build an auditable history against an entity, which is stored securely and informs future intelligence and decisions.

Customise and style the external portal
Any compliance program inevitably requires processes to request information from customers. Despite all the automations, intelligence and data sources available, sometimes you just need to ask the customer for more details. Usually, this information is provided through emails, email attachments and sometimes even letters, leaving the information siloed from the rest of your compliance intelligence. With BNDRY, you can request your customers provide data through a secure external portal, which has now been enhanced with customisation options to configure colours and logos to align with your brand experience. Any information provided by the customer is stored in the entity’s profile securely, for easy retrieval and audibility.

Other improvements
A summary of some other improvements we’ve made to BNDRY in the last few months.
- Glance key details with pinned fields on entities: instantly view your most critical data points by pinning them to the top of the entity profile for immediate glanceability.
- Track employee entities for internal personnel due diligence: manage the due diligence and risk procedures for internal staff with a new employee category for entities.
- Entity filters to list entities by risk rating, screening status, and more: quickly segment your entity database by applying filters to view entities by risk rating, screening results, KYC verification results, and more.
